The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who is detail-oriented and accurate in their day-to-day work. This candidate should be culture-focused, bringing enthusiasm to the office and offering up new ideas and programs. This candidate should also have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases).

Essential Job Functions

• Assist CSE and MedOne Sales Team with duties that are directly related to the general business operations
• Manage day-to-day needs of assigned clients with the goal of 100% client retention
• Assist CSE with contract maintenance and performance
• Assist with escalated member issues
• Assist CSE with resolution of eligibility, accumulator, and claims extract file issues
• Create, analyze and present findings of prescription drug reports
• Identify and present to clients, opportunities to improve costs, services, and health/wellness under the direction of the CSE
• Prepare for and facilitate a new client implementation meeting under the direction of the CSE
• Assist the client with impact analysis to best determine the appropriate requirements to ensure a smooth and successful implementation with the assistance of the CSE
• Ensure all requirements are documented in the standard project templates and tools and then obtain approval from the client before initiating plan builds
• Continuously monitor progress in terms of the status of the project
• Facilitate post implementation review meetings with client under the direction of the CSE
• Travel to client sites as needed
• Willing to obtain pharmacy technician certification
• Works well in a team environment
• Portrays the company in a positive image
• Required to abide by all rules, regulations and policies of the employer

Work Hours

• Full-time position, hourly employee
• Must be able to travel on an as needed basis
• “On Call” hours are required (could be variable based on days, nights, and/or weekends)

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related area preferred or consideration of equivalent working experience in related field
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel
• Must obtain certification as a pharmacy technician within one year of being placed in position
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be timely, dependable and must notify supervisor of schedule changes

Highly Preferred Experience & Skills

• Occasional travel required
• Must possess a valid and current driver’s license
• Must possess personal vehicle sufficiently reliable to meet the requirements of the job and is appropriately insured
• Understanding concepts of pharmacy benefit management operations
• Background in pharmacy or other related healthcare field
• Ability to work as a team
• Understanding concepts of pharmacy benefit management operations

Continuing Education Requirements

• As needed for various certifications and licenses
